I commit to provide all the necessary resources to carry out changes necessary to improve safety and reduce all identified hazards.
Our overall safety objective is the pro-active management of identifiable hazards and their associated risks with the intent to minimize their potential for affecting aviation safety, injury to people and damage to property or the environment. To achieve this, we must all continuously examine our operation for these hazards and find ways to minimize them.
We will strive to comply with and, wherever possible, exceed, legislative and regulatory requirements and standards.
I encourage the open sharing of information on all safety concerns and encourage all employees to report Significant Errors, Safety Hazards or Concerns. For this purpose we have created a Hazards and Incident Reporting System throughout all departments.
We ensure the implementation of recommendation of aviation accident investigation and national safety issues concerned.
I pledge to enforce the Non-punitive Policy to ensure that no action will be taken against any employee who discloses a safety concern through the Hazard Reporting System. However, Gross Negligence, Recklessness, a Deliberate and/or Willful Disregard of Regulations or Procedures will not be tolerated.
In this regard no staff member will be asked or pressured to compromise safety standards for financial, commercial or any other reason.
We commit to training staff on safety awareness, document our findings, implement corrective actions and strive for continuous improvement.
Ultimate Accountability for Aviation Safety in the company rests with me, as The Accountable Manager. Responsibility for making our operations safer for everyone lies with each one of us, from Managers to Front-Line Employees.
Each Head of Department is accountable for implementing the safety management system in his or her area of responsibility, and will be held accountable to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken.
